Things making GC3 Not fun to play (almost)

I know you know this .. but please move it up on your priority list.

1) The ship list (in shipyard/ designer) is really unmanageable, it has gotten so big and I can’t even figure out the logic of the order in which they are listed.

Suggestions:

Additional “sort” options in tabs or drop downs

Fighters vs non fighters

Sort/display by hull size

Permanently remove ships from list so obsoletes do not return.

Create a “User List of Ships” vs” All Ships”

User can create an editable short/manageable list of ships he/she cares about.

2) Planet management screen similar or same as what was in GC2

Great game and getting better all the time

I have no doubt that much of what you are saying, and more, will be in the release.   Bigger list of hotkeys, better menus, yada,  yada.   Just look at galciv 2 I hardly think they have forgotten how to do this.   But getting the machinery to work is the priority now, as I think you realize.   At present, there is frustration, I agree, particularly with the ships list and colony management.

The shipyard is sorted by combat hull first, hull size second. So tiny on top to huge on bottom. Cargo hulls are even further down since they are not combat ships. After that, it is more alphabetical, with constructors being above transports.

Ship designer, I think it is all alphabetical (I don't go there much). I know that is different because I can't find the ships that I'm looking for when I want to redesign the AI designed ships. If I go look for a medium hull missile ship, I'm going to have to look for it.

Thanks DivineWrath, The thing that really confuses me is why the designer and shipyard lists are different.

Bamdorf: Yup i do realize, just figured i try the squeaky wheel approach.
