[Crash] Frequent crashes

I have just recently started playing LH, but every time i start a game it usually doesn't take long before it crashes. This last one happened in the middle of combat, but i have had this same error in a variety of different situations. Which is the one where you get a message saying "dx error invalid call".

debugg.err

I tried finding the zip file both trough search, and going trough it manually, but i couldn't find it. There was a file called report.wer that seemed to be for the crash mentioned above, but I don't know if that could be useful .

There is also another crash i encounter less frequently that gives the message "video scheduler internal error". Which i had less luck with reproducing.

I have enjoyed what i have played so far. So it's a shame that the game isn't more stable, and i hope there is a way to fix this.

Thanks for the debug.err.

What's happening is that the the game is losing contact with the video channel.  Your drivers look to be up to date.

Hmm... do you toggle out of the game a lot?  Are you running an app that pops up over the game?

When i was reading about others with similar issues i read that alt tab might cause this problem. Which is why i avoided doing that, but it had no effect. At first i thought it might be the windows notification for my win 7 that i couldn't find the key for, but then i settled that potential issue by upgrading to win 8. I don't really see any apps that pop up. Are there any other potential sources of interferance or app types that you would suspect?

I'm sending your log over to our lead developer.  I'll let you know what he thinks.

I've found if my appointment reminder program pops up during the game, it gives the dx error.  Annoying since you don't always remember to plan for the popup, but the point is that the reminder should be able to appear when it needs to.  Bringing up Task Manager too almost always produces a dx error.  I have fairly new drivers.

I have similar issues. I really love that game but it didn't last long the last several tries to play it.

Here's the end of my debug.err:
