question about win xp start menu, maybe somebody will know... i hope

I switched my Windows XP pro to behave as one on a domain with the startup being a username/password window instead of the regular XP logon screen so that I can get the control-alt-delete functionality of Windows 2000. Well this is great, I love it. I can lock my pc now. The only problem is I no longer have a user icon on my start menu. Anybody know of a way to fix this? Or if I can't get an icon there, does anybody know of a way to add spaces to the beginning of the display for my username or something so it doesn't look tacky being in the spot where the icon is supposed to be. Thanks in advance for any help/insight.

You cannot fix this.. the user icon is the short cut to the Windows User Setting menu. When you disable the normal menu, it automatically disappears

I have the XP Start Menu in use not the classic menu, the icon spot shows up but the icon does not.

The user icon does not show if you have XP setup to use a domain.

Well.. I would like to remove the picture but clueless as how. I do know how to remove the name since it was posted in a thread.
START > RUN > GPEDIT.MSC > USER CONFIGURATION > ADMINISTRATIVE TEMPLATES > START MENU AND TASKBAR > FIND REMOVE USER NAME FROM START MENU > RIGHT CLICK PROPERTIES > CHECK ENABLED > OK

I don't think you can get rid of the picture.
