-New Chat section to connect you to #wincustomize
on irc.stardock.com. Functions like an irc client,
so most anything you can do with base irc functions
and commands (as far as chat) can be done there.
-New Web Browser section so you don't have to
hop out of SB when following a link.
-Fixed crash on hovering over certain skins.
-Added prompt to update library database if 7 or more days old.
-Added options to hide some sections.
-Fixed memory leak in cancelling a download.
-Fixed crash on listing some search results.
-Added option to toggle skin item tooltips.
-Removed auto refresh of thread if updated.

Just downloaded this. I like the new features, but, the message board is still no good. For large threads it just sits there saying 'Status: Downloading thread' with zero network activity. I went back to using the web site after the last update and don't seem to have any problems with large threads. Curious

Same here. Tried viwing the Msgboard chatroom marathon and got :

Active Server Pages error 'ASP 0113'

Script timed out

/browser/sb_msgboard.asp

The maximum amount of time for a script to execute was exceeded. You can change this limit by specifying a new value for the property Server.ScriptTimeout or by changing the value in the IIS administration tools.

I installed the 99 version, but for some reason I can't view skins or
use the chat feature.

This started a couple of days ago before I upgraded, I know not why,
any ideas??

What does it say/happen when you try to view a skin? does the Chat feature connect to the server at all?

I like SkinBrowser as it's fast for viewing skins, but I have a problem with the discussion board. It tries to connect and then tells me that I'm not connected to the internet, which obviously isn't the case. Right now I'm using the web browser function in 0.99.

I use ZoneAlarm but skinbrowser is allowed to connect and even without the firewall the problem with the discussion board remains. Ditto with a local proxy (Proxomitron) enabled or bypassed.

In the SkinBrowser go to View Menu --> Settings and check the Internet Connection option, try swopping it between LAN and dial up

Just to clarify, after I try to access the discussion board, SB tells me I'm not connected to the internet, I get an "error downloading file" and then nothing. So at present I can't access the discussions or use that feature.

I do like this updated version. I haven't been knocked off while posting on a thread. Before I would get half the message typed and it would update and I would have to start over.
