[BUG] Bug with damage tables

For those familar with the damage tables, you may be aware that each weapon type (ANTILIGHT, CORVETTE, etc....) has a Chance to Hit associated with fighters, bombers, and capital ships....the fighters and bombers entries are separate (ex: you could make flak have a high chance of hitting fighters but not bombers)...

While doing some testing, it appears that for the newly added Corvette damage type, the Chance to Hit associated with bombers does not seem to work...corvette weapon types kill bombers equally fast independent of the chance to hit...to confirm this, I even made the chance to hit negative but bombers still took just as much damage...

Since the anti-SC weapons on corvettes are technically ANTILIGHT this may not affect the base game...unless of course other damage types are also bugged and don't actually have different chance to hits for bombers....

I haven't had a chance to do this for all the damage types but I was wondering if other modders would be able to confirm this bug or relate similar experiences with other damage types...

Try it with fighters. It's possible the separate entity for bombers is dead code, so all strike craft might be just using the "fighters" category and everything else the "Capitalship" category.

No it is definitely right...but as I said, it doesn't do me any good...I wish the entries affected the different SC roletypes, instead of one entry affecting all SC...

Is it possible that the Bomber line has been re-purposed to reference something else - say, Frigates or Corvettes.

If so it could open up some interesting possibilities, though I sadly doubt it.

I don't think that's the case...most weapon types have somewhere around ~10% chance for both fighters and bombers...if those actually affected shooting corvettes or anything else I feel like people would notice...

Considering this reduces modding abilities, clearly Pb head is either a very bad modder, a secret horrible bomber spammer, or both. ;)
