1)I would love to see in the name of a city on the map also some icons with numbers for different resouces (so for a city with 3 Mats/4Grain/1 Essence I would see next to the name 3 Mats icons, 4 Grain icons and one Essence icon. This would help me immensly in my decisions of what to produce where and which city to focus on what. Incidentally during level up I would be better able to decide what to choose. At this time I rename my city when I found it into either Town, Fort or Research followed by the resources available (i.e. Town (4/2/0) would be 4 grain, 2 mats and 0 essences). But this breaks HUGELY on the immersion if I have like 6 towns called Town, 3 called Fortress and the rest called Research - still its the only way I have found to govern them properly.
2)I would love to see the difficulty setting having some influence with regard to the random loot. With higher difficulty settings reducing the chance (or eliminating alltogether) for (good) weapons and (good)armor. Sometimes the loot is just too good and henceforth unbalancing (found a 14 defense armor in one the other day).
