I watched a show on TV yesterday about the Brazilian team.
Wow, there were scandals in Brazil too, especially in the last World Cup in 98. Something about Nike controling the team and devciding who would play and who wouldn't. Anyway, apparently Brazilian football was extremely corrupted.

Renato, is it better now, or are there still problems?

Renato: My beloved England play your beloved Brazil tomorrow, If Brazil play like you skin, and England play like I skin, you should win 50-0!!
Anyway, may the best team win, and good luck to you.

Patric: I am very shame to say that today, soccer here has even more corruption problems that it has in 1998. >
This begans some years ago when the damn politic guys came to lead some soccer association.
They are killing our favorite sport and I am quite surprise that our team dind´t return home yet, since, for the first time, we had some major problems on the qualifying.
Politics screw everything they tuch.
Our next game with England, for sure, will be the hardest one and I think we have the same chances as England, no favoritism this time, but respect to England and in my opinion, the winner of this game will have very good chances to win the world cup.

Today all I can do is to support my beloved team, so....

/me goes upstairs to ware his Brazilian yellow/green t-shirt and begin to sing êêêêlêlêôôôô....lêlêô.....lêlêô....BRAZIL!!!

Oh, I think Brazil has the best soccer (football) country in the World. No doubt in my mind. But indeed, money and politics corrupt even the most talented.
I hope you guys win in spite of everything.

So far, my guesses were good. Brazil and Germany won.

Now, South Korea vs Spain? Hum, that's a tough one. I tend to say Spain, but S. Korea is a good team too. OK, I say Spain.

What about Senegal vs Turkey? Difficult too. I say Senegal.

What do you think?
I really want Senegal to win tomorrow... but I'm not so sure... it will be close, maybe a golden goal by Senegal.

As for the S.Korea v. Spain, I think Spain will just about make it through.

We will probably end up with a Brazil v Germany Final... or maybe Brazil v Spain... I would prefer the Brazil v Spain one personally.

... actually now that I think about it I would prefer a Brazil v Senegal final, but that can't happen
