A big Thank You to the rest of the world

There has been a lot of discussion in here the last several days regarding the editorial written in a Canadian newspaper. This has prompted a lot of Americans calling themselves the thankless saviors of the world (myself included), and a lot of other folks in our global community here with injured pride.

That being said, I was truly touched by all of the gestures made by countries around the world yesterday. The moments of silence, prayers, etc have been truly appreciated. It's an amazing thing seeing the national anthem being played in cities around the world.

Man, these are powerful pictures, thank you kwee2! It got my eyes all wet. These pictures truely witness how this was more than an attack on the USA, it was an attack against humanity. You don't see the whole unite in their grief like that very often.
