Scary quote

Hmm, so what does the next verse say?

It seems that the quote might be a fabrication or so I heard.

I wouldn't be taking too much stock in the alleged sayings of someone claiming to see the future.
This is reality...as sobering, tragic, and horrible as it it.

So, I may be thick but what does that quote has to do with the recent events? What City of God? What brothers? What fortress?
I've seen other people quoting those words, but I fail to see any sense in it...

"In the City of God there will be a great thunder" - explosions in NY?

two brothers torn apart by chaos - the two towers could be the "brothers"

while the fortress endures, the great leader will succumb. - could represent the terrorist leader being killed but the terrorist group continues

"The third big war will begin when the big city is burning." - the big city being NY, which is burning, might be the start of WW3 if its not handled correctly

the thing with his quotes is that theyre vague and can be interpreted in many ways....

Proof that the quote is fake Nostrodamus died in 1566 and it says it was written in 1654.

I've studied his quotes for some while now, and I can't find one of them that begins with "In the city of God..." this is in three different books which contain all of his predictions and their translations... also, this does not follow the "format" of his predictions.

So, drop the fear-monger routine: it's fake.

The ones I have posted are believed to be written by Nostrodamus.

I will believe in little green men before I ever place credibility in Nostrodamus's 'predictions'.
It is a case of the delusional leading the naive.

xpfreak - I'll look into it tonight. They definitely fit the format, and the Century and Quatrain headings seems to fit also.

Those by xpfreak (in old French) seem more like the real thing, plus the fact that a friend of mine swears he has seen that interpretation ten years ago already.
