WindowBlinds 7.2 build 297

WindowBlinds 7.2 build 297

Will not skin at all

I have Windows 7 SP1 x64 and WindowBlinds 7.2 build 297 purchased version. I recently had a meltdown and had to reinstall Windows I now have a fresh clean install of the OS. I installed WindowBlinds and it asked for my email and reg number, I puy them in and it took it just fine. I went to apply a skin and it asked again for the registration info, took it,  then did nothing. It never asked for the registration info again but it will not apply any skins. Here is the about info:

Well just what it came with and 2 more that I added. Are there any compatalility issues with IE9 cause I notice it does not skin most of it and what it does is a mess.

@Hankers... Gotcha  ;)

So I guess It's a matter of time but for now I can use another browser or put IE9 in the non-skin program list. IE 9 is SOOO slow anyway. I am a huge Microsoft fan and I loved IE8 but I am getting tired of IE9 and it's staggering trying to load and scroll down pages.

I also found out the hard way, my Photoshop, either x32 or x64 do not work unless I unload WB7 They do not display any images. Just an FYI for the techs to look at.

With respect to Dewie's last question. I thought the delay in the theme chooser was itself trying to index the themes but I counted only 12 themes plus 3 I added. Although at one point the screen said it had 251 skins. ACK, does that include all the Windows 7 skins I had too?

ie9's java engine is very slow (x64).

Were I you I'd junk it and get the x86 which is quite good.

No... did you have more on your system from somewhere else?

Not that I recall. I will do a system search to see where that number 251 is coming from.

Hey, check out this skin!  https://www.wincustomize.com/explore/windowblinds/search/molten

Used to be included in WB trial but not there anymore weird. This is actually my favorite. Good thing I thought to search for it.

I downloaded the free version of skin studio. I may play with that one a bit to get IE9 to look somewhat better I just won't be able to do any animation.. Stopping the task bar skinning in WB7 helped a lot and YES BTW it looks great on FireFox 5

End of joelore's quote

Try Excluding the app from skinning.

WBConfig

Settings tab.

Per application tab in popup settings window

Click on Add button

Browse to your Adobe .exe file, click on it to pop it into File name field, click on Open button

Per applications window will pop up

Click on 1st option, "Ignore this application and do not skin it", checkbox to select that (Or instead, go down a few lines under Advanced Features heading and click on checkbox for "Only skin this applications titlebar")

Click on Ok and next Ok

Hmm, no luck it only seems to work properly if I unload WB 7.
