Is this blazer ok for a wedding guest?

So I have a summer wedding to attend. I know the bride and groom because they are my gf's flatmates. I bought this blazer a while back. because it was on sale and I loved it but never really had anything to wear it to. Do you think that would be ok to wear as a guest? I know the groom is wearing a simple suit, I don't want to be overdressed. I love the suit, I just don't want to be the only person that doesn't wear a simple top or something

I don't really know.  It depends on whether or not they will be wearing SPAM at the wedding.

my wife has quite a bit more taste than me in clothing.  That said, she said that would likely be a good pick.

If you want to be on the safe side, just ask the bride or groom what the wedding party is wearing.  The only real odds that you'd stick out like a sore thumb is if they do some sort of t-shirt and sun dress deal.  Odds are that won't be the case.  But a question to them will cover it, methinks.
