Lost a right-click menu...

Until recently my right-click menu seemed to be part of DX. It contained a lot of links that were specific to DX. I thought it was part of DX. Does anyone know what I am talking about? And where I can find it again? I really miss it.

It is part of DX....if it is something that was part of a DX Theme. If you accidently altered a theme and lost that ability, delete the theme and re-download it I'm assuming you are talking about right-clicking on your desktop

Well, I started a new theme and found that if I check the box that says *hide desktop icons* I get the right click menu. But if I uncheck that box and let the icons show (using icon X anyway) that menu is gone.

why would that be? It is a very handy menu! Oh, yes, it is rightclick on desktop one.

Thanks.

You're right. Since DX "covers" the desktop...you don't have access to your icons. An alternative could be to use the DX desktop option with right-click available and then use the XP taskbar toolbar linked to your desktop.
If you shrink it down to just the title "Desktop" it will be menu driven like the start menu

I think I will just build a right-click Object Bar that emulates that menu. It feels more closely integrated with thought. Right-clicking for that information is more or less automatic now. Thanks!
