rainmeter skinning problems..

decided to finally tackle rainmeter today...... im using elemenal queen as the backdrop, so far so good,

i have the analog clock in place ect

my problem is weather, id like weather there, i downloaded the abp skin that has weather,

can i put all the ini stuff from the weather into the clock ini? i tried it, but didnt get very far,

why does every ini have to have a seperate folder, this is so anoying.

so far i cant get further than the clock.

and i know copying and pasting ini's is wrong, but so far its just an experiment as i got no idea what the f*k im doing...

any help would be appreciated.

You can merge the weather skin and the clock, but it would require modifying the code quite a bit to make it work correctly.  Also be careful if the skin your copying code from uses @include=whatever.  You probably need to include that in your skin too.

If you could explain a bit more what you're trying to do, then I could give some more specific advice.

There's some tutorials on the Rainmeter website.  I've also written a few tutorials over at deviant art.  They start out pretty basic and get a bit more complicated.

basically  i wanted the weather icons images, sunny, cloudy ect (i have the default yahoo ones that abp used but i will be going over those and making my own images)

i also would like the temperature to be shown, and also, a button so people can get the right weather code for their country ect....

That should be pretty easy.  Most of that is covered in the weather tutorial.

As for the weather code, that is a bit more difficult.  Rainmeter can't do that natively.  I know poiru made a small program that found it for the user, but I don't know which sites it work for.  GetWLC
