Player Reporting.. Dont know where else to do it.

The current Robertt_Munch is threatening to track people down with their IP addresses and kill them.  I find it kind of hilarious,  but not really appropriate lobby conversation.

It's not the real Robert Munch, it's a alias'd fake wannabe Munch.  This guy's from *********** who also threatened me and Tombmaster in a few games saying that he wants to come kill me too.  Tombmaster said that he screenshotted the lobby and forwarded it over to stardock support.

Screenshots please.  I don't doubt you, but anyone threatening physical harm should not be in our community and I would like to see them banned.  No one is banned on hearsay.

Please ask tombmaster (if you catch up with him) to post it here or pm me for an email address and I'll make sure this is followed up on quickly (eg this player won't have a valid login to threaten someone else within 2 weeks).  I could give a rip if its bobby or not - I won't tolerate folks threatening others in our community regardless of who it is.

Errr?   Alt+Print Screen or something? Where are screen shots saved?

PrintScreen, then paste into any graphics editor. Highly inconvenient, but that's normal for Demigod ;)

Well, dont worry then this will all be seen by Stardock and Tombmaster and Imgonnabeatyoass/Imgonnarapeyou/NeedstinkonMyhangdown/ and whatever clever name you have for yourself can explain to them how they hacked in and started typing in where I live. I will not have someone come to my house and harm my family or me, so yes when they started saying my gps position and my personal info I did threaten them because I was worried they would come to my house. Obviously these guys are hackers and can break into peoples personal info. SO LET ME BE CLEAR IF EITHER ONE OF YOU DECIDE TO SHOW UP NEAR ME YOU WILL DIE DO NOT COME TO MY HOUSE YOU HAVE NO IDEA HOW CRAZY I AM WHEN I AM THREATEND. Hoqw do they get away with putting personal information about people and not get banned for that? I dont care if I am banned I am done with a community that has hackers in it that post peoples info.

No one gets banned based on hearsay.  From what I can gather and several pm's that have been sent to me, someone decided it would be fun to call themselves robert munch and a few of his buddies weren't all that happy with it.  Everything else is up in the air.  So, no screenshot, no action (of course, if Stardock wants to do something based on whatever was reported as sent to support@stardock.com, that's up to them).  I personally don't push for bans unless I've seen the shite behavior myself or there are screenshots.

The only way that information would be available is if a StarDock employee was providing that information.  What type of security is in place to prohibit Stardock employees from looking up personal information of players and spamming it in games?   This is in response to Robertt_Munch's post above.

Ah this isn't correct. There are other ways to obtain IP info than that...

One of the players involved in this debacle has had their account banned in association with the incident here and other recent actions that violated the terms of use for demigod.

Acquiring an individuals IP and then using information obtained to harass or threaten is prohibited by the TOU for Demigod.

Harassing an individual is not acceptable.
