Newbie - Wallpaper - how to set set a plain colour

Wallpaper and Control panel interction

hi,

I like to use a plain colour as background and set the colour to what I want. Somehow I manged to removed this entry from the WB7 list of possible wallpapers! The only way I can see to get it back is to use ContolPanel>Display and set it from there. Is it ok to use Cpanel and WB7 like that?

If not, how should I properly set a plain colour background using (ie from within) WB7?

thanks

End of quote

Sure, that's fine.

You could try running sfc /scannow. That might bring the others back, might not. How did you remove them? How long ago was it? System restore might be the answer.

Hi

The only single wallpaper the went away was the mono-coloured one I changed in CPanel. i.e It was present in WB7 when I started it - then went to CP>display to set the colour. When returned to WB that single wpaper was not there.
