The (ongoing) beta... thoughts

First I LOVE all the changes, improvements and design decisions.

On to the beta....

I'm big lover of betas and fully understand their purpose and have no complaints about working with developers to make a better game.

But...  I am not a big fan of staring at the same bugs for 3 weeks....  I don't know what the 'cost' of producing new beta's is, but I think you do a lot for your beta testers piece of mind and goodwill by releasing new betas at least weekly.

That's all I got...

Keep up the GREAT work...

I agree with your view.

I think they should really emphasize in the bugs section first and there will always be time to add new funtions and game improvements later on.

But if they have a game that half the gamers cant play without a crash every 30 minutes or so, then there is really no use for new content, rather than make the game really stable.

Either way they know well that achieving game stability will free their hands and have plenty of time of been creative with new content again and not to mention that wthey will probebly have a bigger sales boost from any achievable by just adding new stuff to the game rather than make it stable :)

Hope they give this a read ^^

I'd rather they don't.  I like my previous bugs fixed and verified internally before they send it out to the masses only to discover that fixing one thing broke three others and killed off half the player base.
