Winstep

So I downloaded winstep yesterday and been quite impressed. The only thing I have noticed so far is the email checker will not work. For those who may not have yet dicovered why here is the reason.

"It's in the FAQ: up until early 2010 the Email Checker worked perfectly well with Gmail, Yahoo and Hotmail accounts because of its built-in SSL v2 encryption support, which is required by these email providers. Unfortunately sometime around early 2010 the v2 implemention of the SSL protocol was deemed unsafe and v3 is now required, with v2 connections being refused.

Since adding SSL v3 support to Winstep applications is not a trivial matter, there is currently no estimated date for this, sorry..."

So it looks like we are out of luck for some time. I am just curious as to what you all use if any for an email checker. Is there a good one that supports multiple accounts? and yes I believe this has been covered before but I could not find it and its good to keep it alive seeing how things change quickly as in SSL v2 and 3.
