Skins not skinning?

Hi Guys,

Ok, when I apply a skin that shows that it will skin things like the "Turn Off Computer" or "Log Off Windows" prompts it doesn't skin them like shown in the suite. The only thing that gets skinned is the "Cancel" button. Everything else seems to work fine except for those 2 things. Can anyone tell me why?

You need to run Windowblinds 4.0-4.1 to view the skinned 'Shellstyle' goodies

So, what your saying is that when I purchased the Object Desktop and downloaded Windowblinds4, it's not the right version?

webgizmos, it sounds like you have the right version of WB. What skin are you using? Skins made before WindowBlinds 4 won't have those parts skinned.

Hi MIke,

Right now I'm using the Colony skin. It skins everything except the part when you click start (which it skins), then logoff or turn off computer. The prompts that pop up after clicking either of those 2 things aren't skinned. But, the cancel button is, which is weird. Iwould think if it skinned the button the rest would be as well.

Older skins would have shown a skinned cancel button on an unskinned logoff window, because older versions of WB didn't have a place to add an image for the logoff window. Colony, however, is up to date with WB4 and should be skinning everything. Do the shellstyle panes on the left side of folder windows get skinned? I did make Colony for WB3 orginially, but then I updated it for WB4. Maybe you still have the old version.

Ahhh! It's good to converse directly with the mad scientist that put Colony together!... I'm using, and have downloaded the Colony1024 skin that has been posted here at WinCustomize. I've yet to find anything else that hasn't been skinned, and yes I believe the shellstyle panes are skinned. (Great skin by the way!) Do you have a link to the most updated version of this skin? (I know....dumb question!)...

This is definately the most current version, but the files on this site and at deviantArt should be current as well.

If the shellstyle panes are getting skinned, then you must already have this version. I never released one with just the shellstyle panes and no logoff window. I would try deleting the skin and reinstalling it. I'm glad you like it.
