hey i have gotten this quest almost every game - and every game it fails to do anything -
quest starter says - your answer is elsewhere - and then a new icon appears - when i walk to that place where it is - it just vanishes and nothing else happens -
this also sometimes has the effect of removing some quest/notables from map which never return ????

I can confirm this problem - happens on my game exactly the same way
This is the only result I have ever gotten. This quest must have gotten lost by the devs and never finished, with all the other hundreds (one) of other quest at that level, it makes perfect sense that one could be overlooked...
yeh big problem - thsi quest also locks up other quest givers - for reasons beyond me when i have this quest active alot of quests cant be accessed
This other thing broken is the overall lack of quests. So much potential and you only get to do a few quests.
The reward per the xml is 25 materials. Hardly worthy of a 4th level quest.
