Cannot expand empire tree

From the video tutorials I learned that you should be able to click on the + sign on the icon for your city on the upper left corner of the screen.  This would expand it to show what you're presently building as individual icons underneath it.

 

However, I cannot click the + sign or if I do, nothing happens...

All of them.  I cannot get them to expand.  I have the latest Nvidia drivers for the 8800 GT.

 

I notice that on many things I need to click slightly to the right of the icon to have effect, but this isn't helping in this case.

Do you have your screen resolution set to the same as your monitor?  Also, does the same issue happen if you set your cursor to the hardware one?

Ok, the Hardware cursor did not fix the problem.  However, turning off Use Full screen did!  And it fixed issues I was having with the confirmation dialogs when exiting the game, etc.. 

I did have the Resolution in the game set to the same as my screen display.

So I'll just play in windowed mode, which doesn't look any different anyway.

 

But that is a bug...
