Leonard Nimoy's Hanging Up His Pointy Ears

Well, when I started college, this program started as well...it was Star Trek TOS. There'd be 50 or 60 of us in a space designed for maybe 20. The guys didn't mind. Maybe the girls didn't either....good times.

So, I was a tad saddened when I read this article. I'm getting older and older.

Yes, a very sad day. But at 79 and one of the most famous actors in history, he deserves a good retirement.

Zachary Quinto is much a much better Spock than we could have hoped for. I hope he doesn't quit...

Absolutely agreed, Fuzzy. He gave it his best to create a three dimensional, respectable and lovable character over many, many years. Too bad Bones isn't still around. His passing saddened me. I always harbored a fantasy that I would meet him someday...well, that could still happen.

I remember when I was part of the people that wrote in to keep the show going back in the 60's.  I will miss Leonard as he really solidified the show.  Suprisingly, the new Spock was rather good.  Shame we get old and die off.
