Just an artist note... I think the Advent crest should have had a little more ornamental work done on it.  It looks a little bland.  Maybe a blue or gold lined crest over the tops of the flair?

That Vasari reminds me of futuristic steampunk armor... rusted iron plate armor. I like it!

I actually want them as player icons in game.  If Quinn will post a high res of the TEC guy, I'll probably make a mini-mod for that myself.

Technically there are no female TEC or Male Advent artwork either, though as they are human I supose it's not all that important. Though I wonder if their are any on the Victory/Defeat screens that we just can't recognise...

Idk about male advent, but have you looked through all of the character portraits ingame? I definitely see some female TEC ladies. If i remember correctly

How do you know that that isn't a picture of a female Vasari?  They are aliens after all.

There is now in Diplomacy a female TEC portrait and also two male Advent portraits, which I find very odd. Weren't the leaders of the Advent all women? Or did I get caught in speculation and fan fiction?

Are there Vasari males and females?  What if they're all female and just reproduce without any outside help?  Note that we haven't seen any female TECs and few male Advents (as of Entrenchment anyway).

The rulers of the Advent are called the Coalescence (that is singular, there is no known plural for it. some say Coalesci). The Coalescence are all female. However, that doesn't say that a man might not be influential in Advent society either, he's just not Coalesci.

Yeah, but I thought that as Advent guys have less psychic abilities, they are less respected and given much less power than a woman.

Aside from this, the game needs more portraits!

Women dominate the Coalescene, but that doesn't mean that they entirely control it. It's possible that some Advent men could have the psionic powers to join their ranks.

EDIT: Fantastic Advent work. I really wish the new artwork were in Diplomacy as character portraits, especially the incredible armored Vasari.
