I think that Sedna really has a hard time against a Rook: I don't play her anymore if there is an enemy rook on the board, I just can't take him. I can hold him back early game but later on I always get stuck behind in the gold flag. I can try to invest in Minions, etc, but since I'm also buying currency and I also need to get Scailmail and Nimoth ASAP so that I can actually take tower damage and not get sneezed on and die that I don't have the extra cash to invest in them.

I think this is partially why Obs considers Sedna to be one of the weaker demigods along with the fact that he has probably played a lot of stupid Sednas who have no idea how to fight a beast >.<

I agree, sedna shouldn't try to take on a tower rook, she should one of her allies to come deal with him, such as a minion build erebus or oak or torch bearer or regulus.

im glad to see there has been a shift away from tier1 dg's in the last few months. 

there have been a lot more games without ub/erb/oak than last year and those have been alot more interesting.

It'd be nice to play a game without SOMEONE being UB. I don't even like when hes on my team.

I'm down for this   I will pick any "random only" game on sight, just to stir the pot.  I'm SICK, SICK! of Ere/oak/UB teams.  I'm tired of the same items, the same strats, the same tactics.  The computer could play for me at this point, it's robotic.

It's fun to have jacked up teams and come up with strats.  2 regs and a da turned into a ganking machine mid game on a random.  The other team had stronger DGs.  (12 mines behind lines and DA swaps onto them... kablooie.  Dual snipe for 2k dmg for survivors)

I'll join ur game   I'd have a blast with rook, tb, reg, etc.  I would say Occulus... he's between tier 1 and 2.  Massive nuke dmg with quick cool downs, decent health and range.

Lately I've found that if I select a tier 1 dg like beast or ere people leave my lobby.  So as I continue to play dg, I find myself having to select Reg, TB or QoT to 'balance' out the game i.e. get the game started :/ 

I would agree that Beast,Oak and Erebus should be considered tier 1 Demigods, not because they are always better choices than other demigods but because they will always be a strong choice to play regardless of the situation.

I definitly wouldnt consider Regulus as a bottom demigod though.  IMO ignoring the whole general vs assassin minion issue, all demigods are competitive EXCEPT FOR QoT.

Again this might just be because of my demigod of choice and playstyle but when I play against a QoT I just rack it up to an easy win, even if my opponent is breakin an 80% win record.   At best I see QoT as an early game threat, which at worst means just play defense and dont let her bust down your towers early game. 

So its possible with a premade team strategy you could go for an early game victory, but since IMO thats her only viable route its easy to defend against.  

I never had much luck as QoT myself either and dont enjoy general builds as they take too much "thinking and work" IMO.  Ive played with some real good QoT players but Ive yet to face an actual QoT build that I would consider powerful. 

 Its hilarious to me that starcdock or whomever is in charge of balancing has let QoT be relatively gimp this whole time I just have assumed that they know something I dont know about QoT but Im starting to really doubt that.

tier wise I would consider like this

tier1.  Oak, Erebus, Beast

tier2. Regulus, Torch Bearer, Sedna, Rook, Occulus

tier3. Demon Assassin (some real nice utility.  but utility relies on your teammates)

tier4. QoT

that said sometimes Regulus, Rook and Sedna can dominate a game by themselves.
