Demo multiplayer no longer works?

I own the game and still have the demo installed, wanted to show the demo to a friend and play with her. Well when we try to start up a game i look at the Connection Information, it says we're connected but i never transition into the game room, it just keeps saying "please wait", this happens with other players i try to join (and there aren't many) and vice versa. looks like no ones playing the demo anymore cuz of this issue. Whats going on???

Do you know what version of the game the demo is based off of? My guess would be that the demo is incompatible with v1.2

Your not trying to play with one copy of the demo and copy of V1.2 are you? Be sure both PC's have the demo and your not running the wrong .exe by mistake.

Please move this thread to demigod technical support so SD staff see your post (click on edit... then in the drop down, select demigod tech support).  I'd also recommend sending an email to support@stardock.com.  I'd imagine they would be interested if their multiplayer demo no longer works.

I believe we've got the demo servers happy again after the holiday weekend. Sorry about the lag on that.
