I know its beta but thought it was suppose to be released today

It is. If you look at journals, it says they are shooting for afternoon in CST (Central Standard Timezone, like Chicago). They typically release around 2-4, but if they run into a snag who knows.
Can this guy get like.....banned or something? 2 posts for the same thing within a few hours of each other, and another post That is COMPLETELY unintelligible. Are you like 5 or are you just trying to be annoying?
i forgot about that post but i just found out from a few people its comen out tomarrow. Oh ty for telling me they go by central time. I did not know that i am on the east coast so now i know
Stardock is located in Michigan, don't see why they would be going by Central time.
jeez too many kiddies playen this game. a person can not wonder when the patch supppose to be out. It was suppose to be out last thursady then it got pushed to friday. ON friday it got pushed to monday now its almost 430 pm east time which is 330 central time, Hmm if you gona push out a patch y do it late afternoon where more traffic is.
yea well for a game that has a major part of the game messed up usually fails if it persists after a month. Well its going on its first full month and it did get a tad better but not acceptable. Look at AoC it failed due to not meeting expectations and that game had loads of potential.
This game different problem but its in the same category a major fault to it. I love this game and its the first game since WoW that actually has me wanting to play.
no need to flame or ban the OP. we all have the right to ask. The patch has been planned since last week. It's disappointing to see it get delayed again and again.
And you wonder why some companies refuse to give ETAs?
You would have saved me alot of time if you had opened your statement with that. 
I would rather wait another week or even 2 weeks for a more stable patch because BETA was not working for me very well. I was getting alot of NAT and seeing people with 0. It's better if devs take their time and finish the job, rather than rushing through quickly and make a completely disasterous patch.

We are still testing this. Since it's a release and not a beta, we're just trying to be extra careful. We got a beta report about people entering the lobby as "ImpulsePlayer" which is something we're still looking into to see if we can reproduce it.
No, OP holds people to their promises, like myself. Frogboy needs to learn to stop telling everyone when a patch is coming, other than "soon" or "this week", because if he says Thursday, or Monday, I expect a patch then.
In this case it's damned if you do damned if you don't. Everybody wants release dates, everyone wants those release dates to be exact. 'Soon' or 'this week' dont quell the new threads about it and if a specific release date is given and not met then we get problems like this even though there's still 8 hours left in the day. Or if it the release date is met but the product doesnt meet expectations then we get a plethora of threads saying they should of pushed it back even though we would have bitched at the time. Frogboy/Stardock just cant win.
When has Frogboy ever promised anything about any of the patches. It's pretty clear in all of his journal entries that times of release are estimated.
Even for today's patch he says "The plan is to get that update up this afternoon (EST)." hardly a promise..
In case its any help, their name shows up correctly in the players list, but it shows them as "impulse player" in the chat window.
i was just wondering if it was coming out. As I stated this game can ill afford not to have this fixed due to after this week its been a full month.
Mabe as Frog says that they wil be heavy advertising the game after this patch fix and it will help matters.
I am hoping cause i tried beta and man was it fast sure Frog said its the same but dam i do not see it
I think one of the main things about this patch going live is it will bring the regular and beta communities together. Hate knowing they have been divided when the aussie players are thin enough at night as is.
