[Balance] Lord Erebus Bite needs to be ahem.. TWEAKED a bit

Lord Erebus bite is a bit overpowered at the moment.  It either needs a longer cooldown or decrease the amount of health transferred.  You can say that you can stay away from the bite, however, lord erebus can teleport behind you.. making it difficult to run back to the base without another *CHOMP* bite..  If that wasn't enough.. he can stun you if you are about to get away ;).  Right now, I have seen a good erebus basically kill every demigod around.. specially in midgame.

Did I not make it clear that I was saying it's two skills?

I would say those two skills are each about as good as bite.  Heal not only heals, but dispells.  And it has a lower cooldown with her aura.  The pounce interupts.  The armor reduction on bite becomes negliable late game against other people, so it's only worth noting the move speed decrease which only has an effect against someone fleeing.

I'm just saying you have to look at things as a whole and at all they can do.

Oh you made it clear, that is what's so funny. You just don't get it, which is why you made such a hillariously stupid statement to begin with.

Quoting AngryZealot, reply 22Erebus has a distinct advantage at level 1 vs Regulus (or any other demigod really) because he can get 2 bites in. That's 600 extra damage and 600 extra health -- a 1200 damage gap that the other player has to close. Level 1 isn't a very fair comparison.

Thats ENTIRELY the problem. At level 1 the Erebus through his or her early kills gets enough gold and levels to always have a leg up on their opponents. At the very least it forces your opponents to retreat and allows you to hold key flags which again gives you the advantage. If anything needs to be perfectly balanced it is level 1 vs level 1.

Then run from him at level 1, or gank him. People haven't realized yet that you can't win ever fight, and Erebus levels rather slowly with only creeps around. Two things all players need to learn: Lock flags FFS, and RUN when you can not win the fight. A good team will have complete map control and very few deaths. I won a 3v3 last night and my entire team was around 5 levels lower than the opposing team, but we had map control and jumped to catapult+giants with good timing and I made sure to constanlty shield my team with QoT.

Disagreed. Having one Demigod be weak at the start and strong at the end, or strong at the start and weak at the end, would be an interesting scenario.

Locking Flags cost 500 gold.  This is gold you could've used for starting armor or gloves.  Level 1 erebus will start killing early demigods and get poewrful very quickly having an advantage later on in the game.  Even if you run, two things will happen.. the opposite team (erebus team) will take control of the maps or two - our team will feed the opposite team with kills making the game a total loss.  As previous posts have said, the only way to couteract this is by silence or mana leech.

Wrong. Flag lock is 250 gold. 500 will buy a teleport and a lock.

Yep.. my wrong. 250.   I think I saw the universal gadge and thought it was 500.. egg on my face.

Ok.  Go lose more to the unbeatable erebus.

Shedding, did you rage post this thread last night after I mopped the floor with your underleveled team? =o

naw.. last night was hardly a mopping.. I received a cell call in the middle of the game from a customer who I just did not want to hear from and it took me out of my happy zone.  You have to admit I was going well even when you were erebus :)  But as you can see.. this thread was posted before our game.
