Cursor FX Problem

I have been corresponding for some time now regarding my cursor fx which I can no longer use. I have gotten many numerous solutions on how to correct this problem, but so far none have worked, and I have followed them to a 'T'. I have written to support recently (5 times to be exact) and I keep getting the following return...

Hi,

Please restructure your email and resend it so that we may assist you.

Please do not reply to this email.

Thank you,

Stardock Support.

Now I have not sent my recent emails any differently than I always have, now suddenly I can't get through. I have tried wording it differently, leaving the ticket number off etc) Here is the last email I received from stardock support (which I followed):

Hello,

Try closing Impulse and running the following file:

http://sd.stardock.com/curthendzell/fix_registrations.reg

Make sure to follow the link in Internet Explorer, as other web browsers will not handle the file type correctly. Once you follow the link, save the file and double click it to apply it. Then relaunch Impulse. You will need to re-login with your username/e-mail (either will work) and password.

Please let me know whether this resolves your problem or if you have any additional questions.

"You know, I am about the most frustrated customer you have ever had. I have been using Stardock for YEARS. Loved it, never any problems. Now since Impulse has been implented, I have had nothing but grief. I have followed EVERY single suggestion you have sent, and nothing works!!! I just uninstalled cursorfx AND Impulse. I then purchased a new cursor fx program. I installed Impulse, installed my new cursorfx program. Clicked on it to run, and guess what??? It STILL does not work, even with a brand new cursorfx. When I try to click on cursors after I open it, everything 'grays out'. I am unable to close it except from the task bar. All of my other purchased programs are working fine, so it is not my computer. I am out $19.95 and the dadgum program is still not working. I am just fuming.  Why couldn't I have just kept downloading things the way I had been all along? I NEVER had any problems until Impulse came along. Now I am unable to run a program I really liked. So much in fact, that I was willing to purchase it again just to be able to have it."

Try leaving out the all cap letters in the words and no underlining. That may be setting off the spam filters.

Did you completely uninstall CFX with Revo set on "Advanced" and reboot before reinstalling it through Impulse?  Another thing to try before reinstalling is try the fix in reply #23 in this thread, but subsitute CursorFX in place of ObjectDock.  LINK

I would suggest if that's true, then it's you.

How about you shelving the indignant bravado and just start at the beginning so someone can at least attempt to help....again.

Oh try not to put me down. I am just a frustrated customer trying to get some solutions to a cursor fx problem, not a smart remark ... sheesh

Well....?

Did you try my suggestions in reply # 1

Did you ammend your e-mail to support and correctly list your history of problems?

Are you using any other software that may be conflicting with CFX?

When was the last time you ran a thorough, complete malware/virus scan?

When was the last time you reformatted?

Is it possible your registry is in shambles from all these install/uninstall/reinstalls?

I just noticed this thread, and read through the answers...and just as I got to yours, Wiz, that's what I was thinking.

I was also thinking that yrag is just about the best problem solver and most knowledgable person regarding computer problems there is.

Listen to the Wiz. Do what he says. If it doesn't work, ask yrag politely for help. Of course you're frustrated.

OK, I have to tell you, I have went to several forum groups over the years when I have had problems with purchased software, but the reply of 'yrag' to my post I felt was arrogant. If you will re-read his reply to my first post, it was fairly rude. He brought up several of my previous posts as  rebuttal to my statement that I never had any problem with stardock. He is pretty proud of his computer expertise I am sure. The post I made was concerning having a problem with a purchased software and the frustration I felt when trying to solve the problem with over 6 weeks of emails to fix this problem. I will not visit this forum again. or ask yrag 'politely' for help. How juvenile.
