Future for Single Player in Demigod?

I first want to say that Demigod is an awesome game.  I'm a firm supporter of Stardock. (Go ahead, call me a fanboy)  However, I tend to play games single player rather than online.  I guess when I purchased the game, I didn't read the fine print, so to speak. :)  I probably should have done a bit more research, but the game looked pretty interesting.  So, my question are there any plans to add any single player features/content for us legitimate owners of the game?  I guess that would be a question to Stardock/GPG.  If there was a microexpansion that contained a campaign, I would purchase it.
I was also if anyone else had any suggestions/thoughts for single player?  I like the tournament but perhaps some added cutscenes?  What about a saved games on Skirmish and pause functionality?  Perhaps different game scenarios?  Like "pick your Demigod and fight the others to the death - death match style"?  Future map editor?

I agree with you. It would be cool to see a singleplayer campaign and some more game modes. Maybe a classic strategy game mode where to build fortresses, units etc. This would make the game for more people interesting and wouldn't destroy the main concept.

For singleplayer it would be great to have large maps where you have a great connected world, for example the Queen of Thornes lives in a mystical forest where you have to fight her and her minions.

The background of the different demigods is interesting, why don't make use of it...?

They still acn. I think they can release an expansion or update pack, what ever it should be called or a download content that can include multiplayer. But most likely their aims after fixing the connectivity issue is fixing bugs, balance and adding other features.

Ditto as someone who'd like to see more content for single player. I'm enjoying the game but there's a lot of potential left untapped.O:)

Is this the small print you talk about :annoyed:

Well, one of the big changes since Stardock and Gas Powered Games have teamed up is the single player game.  Stardock takes single player games very very seriously. You could say it's our area of expertise.

In a couple of weeks, we hope to unveil here the single player concept.  I think people will be pretty pleased as those who are worried that single player will merely be skirmishes or some scripted campaign need not worry. We have something really special and unique in development.

Single player is comparable to that of Quake 3 arena.  It's just ot get your feet wet so you won't be lost when you step online.
