Unclean Beast needs advice

Beast will have plenty of love he was very popular in Beta

There has been some recent activity in the strategy forum about the Unclean Beast.

Who would have thought there would be strategy in the strategy section!

Regarding a strategy, I usually put points into his acid spit, fury, and movement/attack speed skills.  I also put points into the very bottom skill, which improves his regular attack.  I typically put one point into the stun/life drain so that I can stun.

I try to use items that increase his movement speed, attack speed, and attack damage.  I generally start with boots of speed as my first purchase, then buy a set of armor and a helmet, then purchase the mage slayer from the artifact shop.  With a fast attack speed, high damage, and acid spit, I usually fare pretty well against enemy demigods 1 v 1, and my fast movement speed allows me to quickly get to enemies who are under attack by my friends so I can join in.

I was playing with several of my fellow Stardockians, and one of our guys (damn your eyes GreenReaper!) was UB, he was unstoppable!!

I have a good run with UB so far tonight. Undefeated in the two games that I have managed to get into with many more DG kills than personal deaths. I love the UB and his evil hit and run... evilness.

Throw up, Suck (Life drain + Stun), flip the fuck out (Frenzy), WIN.

You might also want to get the abilities that spreads disease all over the place, movement speed buffs (and the snares), and most definately upgrade your frenzy.

Unclean Beast can be truly deadly if you use him correctly. Or her. Not really sure about that. Hint: Get explosive death, but don't upgrade to plague.

I actually like ooze.  Especially now that it does much more damage than it drains.  The attack spead decrease is money too.  I'll admit it's more crowd control, but against generals, crowd control is a must.

I was messing around with UB in single player.  He seems to suffer from more pathing issues than the other heroes I've played.  I've had him stop just short of towers and have had to reposition him to get him to attack.  I've also had to repeatedly click on an enemy hero to keep him chasing, as he would stop in his tracks, otherwise.

And ooze is great DPS in addition to his other damage over time moves, imo at least.

Ive played all my games as the UB, and i tend to play by stacking health, regen and life steal.By maxing ooze, acid and life drain ive found that in 1 on 1, 1 on 2 i can pull through in most situations with the kills, and if not kill them atleast survive.
