Entrenchment & Sins Van won't start

I've been trying Entrenchment beta 2.5.  Saw that regular Sins had an update on Impulse, so I hit "update", now neither will start (Windows has encountered an error).  When I try to launch Entrenchment from Impulse, it seems to only want to start regular Sins.

What can I do (or undo).  PLEASE tell me I don't have to reinstall everything 8C

Well, there's not much you "should'nt" do to prevent this; Impulse says it has an update; you click update, and poof No Sins :'(

Make sure you have a archive(s) before you update

I ened up having to unistall everything, and reinstall everything from scratch.  There went 5 hours of my life. . .

I fixed mine by reinstalling both games. Having the old Entrenchment (The one that wouldn't start) caused the vanilla to not start still, so I had to get rid of both and start again. Thanks to Impluse, it took about 20 minutes for the whole ordeal.
