Lost my CD Key...

My mom is an idiot and thought my sins booklet was garbage during her "winter" cleaning and now I have no cd-key to go online. Did I use my cd-key to make this account? If so, is there any way I can recall the key or prove I have the game and be issued a new one?

Thanks.

Did you ever register it in SDC/Impulse? Or did you make an ICO account? You have two things you can do.

1) Go here: https://www.stardock.com/support/ and put in your SD account email and it will mail you all your registrations. If you ever registered Sins with SD, you'll get emailed the key. You can also email support@stardock.com if Sins does not show up, and see what your options are.

2) If you made an ICO account, you can email support@ironcladgames.com and see what they can do. I know that in general cd keys are Stardock's domain, but since the ICO accounts are different, if you can prove that you own the game you might be able to get it from your ICO account.

Hope you get it back!

buy new one, its may not be the only way, but its the fastest.

Also, buy it online, that way you will never ever have that problem again.

/edit, curse you annatar, you beat me to it.

Also yes, Impulse registration is important, if you registered, you can recover your CD key from there. And update the game.

It can work off any forum, like https://forums.sinsofasolarempire.com/account :) But in the past some people said that the cd keys that show up through the forums are actually different than ones that get e-mailed to you, and the emailed ones are always the right ones. That was a long time ago so it's likely gotten synced, but you know all that stuff about old habbits and death :)
