Having to question the question leads to my questioning the said applicable answer to the hereto absence of alleged question, and where did the question mark go

Has anyone else noticed when their spouse is cranky and asks a multipe choice question, and there are 3 possible answers, that no matter which one you give, it is wrong, even when you backtrack from the first to the other two?
