What version do I have?

When I bot the game (in May?) and started playing, I think I should have upgraded.  But I didn't, I didn't know about this web site, or what was available, or what I had.  I was struggling just to figure out the game.  Now when I go to upgrade (to 1.05), it says that I won't be able to play my previous saves!  You've got to be kidding... I've got hours invested in those saves.

So which version I am I actually playing now (maybe I've already got 1.05)? There's got to be someplace that tells me what I'm using!  I've looked all over the game, but can't find it.

lol when the game opens, before you select single player multi or all those other options, its right there at the bottom right corner of the screen.

And if you read the information about the patches they tell you you cannot load old saves.

Thx Cooley35, on my 24" w/1600x1000 resolution, its a tiny v1.00 right down there in the bottom corner like you said. It so small, its no wonder I missed it. Glad I've found it, but dissappointed that I'm playing the original version. I had hoped I had purchased an updated version.

I'm playing the original version. I had hoped I had purchased an updated version.
End of quote

Everyone's "purchased" version is 1.0 (all retail versions are 1.0)

The patches are optional and put out by the DEVS "free-of-charge" for those who want to use them (obviously you will only be able to play multi-player with the SAME version as the people you want to play with).

In other words.....your money bought you version 1.0 of SINS (and if you register, you get access to the optional free updates).

thanks,
