I'd take that bet, since this post is also on GalCiv II.

How about the release of Impulse? According to when Brad was talking about it on the GFW podcast it sounded like it was just around the corner.

Stardock is closing down due to a copyright infringement in GalCiv2. Apparently they did not give credit to several of the songs in the game. Due to the mass sale of Galciv2, the lawsuit is asking for an outrageous sum of money ($5 million I think, might be lower). Their parent company has decided to cut star dock off, since they would have to pay for any of their future game developments.


Ironically Stardocks parent company is creating a new sub-company, using many of the same workers from Stardock. However they will not have proper license for support of Sins Of A Solar empire and any other game they have made.

License is pending for GalCiv2 and any of their games.

I'm betting it's the fantasy TBS game stardock has been working on. Sins has been released and patched pretty much, so their announcing their next big game.

I'm pretty darn sure that according to the GFW podcast Brad said they were announcing a new game developed by someone else.

ships - 3dmax or maya (those are the 2 main professional tools, too many free to list)
whatever - Ebay

Seriously a game that needs balancing or a bug that has to be fix for one of the abilities is one thing but a game that just crashes is just plain wrong.

Yes I've have even tried a new hard drive to reload the OS with all updated drivers and just the game but it crashes at the worst time (ie 1.5 hours into the game when you are about to start battling).

Can we return the game for a refund?
