MyColors is garb, I am so mad

sd please pay attention to this, maybe I will get results

Some of you may know a few months back I purchased 2 MyColors themes (corvette & another one which escapes me right now) The MyColors thememanger is garbage (it was then) and new one is even worse, and doesn't work right, it doesn't download, hangs and goes no where. I had found a resolve to that. Use the FREE ThemeManager. It works perfectly.

Fast forward to yesterday.

So MyColors was revamped and I figured possibly improved, I found out I was wrong. Yesterday I bought 4 themes and was forced to dl the supposed new MyColors ThemeManager which is far worse than the last one.

It ruined my PC so bad I had to restore and lost many files.

I have sent SD 2 emails and opened a ticket. No reply yet and I expect after spending $80 I would get one first thing this morning. It is now noontime.

Please send me a link to download the themes I purchased yesterday.
 
Your new MyColors ThemeManager does NOT work, it hangs and does not download themes and has screwed up my PC. I had to run backup and lost files because of this. So much for your mycolors 2.0 update. It's no good.
 
I need either links to the 4 themes (zip or rar) or a download link for the themes of, University of Florida, University of Miami, Boston Bruins Desktop, and the Florida Panthers.
 
The SD 'free' theme manger works great, not your mycolors manager garbage, I cannot import them through mycolors.
 
It is not my PC either, I have fairly new hp with duo and plenty of ram.
 
Please resolve this asap.

To assist in the troubleshooting, here is 2 screenies I took.

Screen 1 has my info and screen 2 is the error message.





I just added the X's as I don't want my info all over the place. If one of the support people contact me I will give info if and when requested.

Hello everyone.  Let me introduce myself to those of you who do not know who I am.  I'm a developer at Stardock (Pat if you want to go by my name) and I work on the server side of things here at Stardock.  So that means I've worked on the part of the code that validates MyColors registrations. 

I've started reading through this thread (Sorry, I haven read all 100 replies yet) and  have tested a couple of accounts which seam to be working properly for me (cornedp and AlMonthy).  But that was using information that was directly out of our system.  Since there still seems to be an issue maybe there is a discrepency with the information that you are entering vs what is in our system.

Anyway, anyone who is having problems with Validating their registration can email me directly and I will help resolve the problems as soon as possible.  When emailing me please provide your email address and serial number that you are using to register your MyColors theme(s). My email is pford@stardock.com.

Hopefully we will be able to get these issues out of the way as soon as possible.

Do you have two accounts?  We are using your information to test with here and noticed that we do not see a purchased copy of the Sins skin in your account.

When you get home, please open MyColors and click on the Settings tab.  There you will find a button called "Check for Updates".  Please click that and let MyColors update itself.  After that please try the registration again and let us know how it works out for you.  We have tested your account here with the updated MyColors with succcess.

Brad it's all 5 of them I can't download. Quest came as a through SDC, Flyers I bought and came as a Flyers MyColors.exe, so I have both of them. WinterWonderland I got free with the Flyers which won't download and Sins and Gyre I bought.

If you are still experiencing your download issue, can you join in IRC to walk through the issue on your PC?

If you are not familiar with IRC, just open Stardock Central, click on Chat, click on Connect then type /nick AlMonty to change your nickname from SDC_Guest to AlMonty.  Look for me (Zargon0225) Seabass, or Highlander and start a conversation with us by double clicking on our nickname on the right hand side of the window.

For those who are experiencing validation problems.  We did correct an error on our internal servers and hope that this fix will take care of most of the validation problems with MyColors.  

Also, it is possible that this fix may correct download issues too.  But we are not sure on this yet because we have yet to identify the exact cause of the download issues.

So, please try again and let us know if the problem you were experiencing with MyColors have gone away of they continue to persist.

Except ones that were made before a Vista version of WB was available. Those had to be updated and they're coming on line at a pretty rapid clip (i.e. several a week).Quick hurry up and fix me so I can buy more.
