Some general suggestions/gripes

Awesome game, always like the things Stardock publish. I saw Tycho saying it was good on the Penny Arcade site and pretty much bought it there and then. Haven't been playing for long but got a couple of gripes i guess. If this is in the wrong forum or i'm just not getting something right, please tell me.

Playing everything on highest detail.

1. The muzzle flashes on capital ships don't match the direction the projectiles come out
2. It would be cool if the ships slid out of the construction yards, rather than just appearing outside.
3. It's really really hard to see what you are currently researching in the research window. That yellow progress bar is really quite small on a 1650x1020 display
4. Is there a manual i can download? The tutorials don't work for me(the not at 1024x768res issue)

I'll add some more if i can think of any :P

1. I agree, Also was kind of odd when the Kol was firing it's lasers 90 degrees from the direction it was facing.

2. Yeah cool, but not necessary really.

3. Yes, very much so, It's not easy when you have multiple que's up and don't remember where and not fun squinting around to find it.

4. didn't have trouble with tutorial at 1600x1050, but the tutorial really is more important then the manual to start out with.

Hover your mouse over the research button :) It'll list your queue and the current progress.

Tutorials will be fixed in 1.02, and the manual (manual.pdf) is in your root Sins install folder :P

Thanks. Though the problem i had was if i wanted to cancel it, i would have to spend 30secs, just trying the find the right box to click.

Thanks again! I was just using the standard Stardock Control Center, i didn't think to look in the installation folder.
