gone through my object desktop and found that icon x; does not work at all, and desktop gadgets open up but says when you click on it that it has stopped working, what is the problem here.

hi daygo IconX (if i remember right) don't support Vista it's for XP
my councils visite this page and look on each softwares you want if they support your OS

Well, more information about what the actual problem is would help as well.

What do you mean "doesn't work at all"? What version are you using? What version of Windows?

System Requirements:

* Windows 2000/XP/2003
* 10MB free drive space
* 256MB RAM


Don't think it's Vista compatible.

As far as I know,Iconx Dont work on vista.

Currently IconX is not updated to work with Vista. Not sure on any current time line in this matter either I am afraid.
