Bar Colors

This might seems like a nitpick but the progress bar color is yellow....when building a ship the icon is yellow....a lot of the research is yellow...seeing the yellow progress bar on top of the yellow ship icons is kinda tough, for me at least. What about the rest of you? A simple solution to this is simply changing the progress bar color to red or blue..or something not yellow.

Or just highlight it in another color and avoid the problem when it comes to other color backgrounds E. G. a 1 pixel wide black line around it.

i like that idea..better than mine...i kept thinking that you would still have the same prob with some research items, but that works nice

I would prefer to have the current research topic outlined rather than the progress bar. And yes, yellow is not the easiest color to track on (for me at least). An alternative would be to have a listing on the side of the research screen of the current and future research topics in the sequence to be researched.

I do agree that having a visible queue would be nice, for production as well as research.

I'll second that! As well as having separate construction bars for separate constructing "instances" of ship classes. E. G. if I have two different Flak Frigates building, and one's 3/4's done and another is 1/3 done, I'd like to know both of those data, not just whichever one is closer to complete. Either use separate bars, one under the other, or just have different alternating colors to indicate each ship (e. g. red bar here represents ship A, then the blue bar past it represents how much further along ship B is, and the red bar past that represents where ship C is...)

E. G. either:

GGGG
GGGGGGGG
GGGGGGGGGGGG

or

GGGGBBBBGGGG

Make sense?
