Error message/can't run program

Looking for support on the following error, which won't allow the program to run: "The product appears to be validated but the serial number or the machine SID don’t match." I performed a destructive system recovery on winXP a few months ago, so perhaps that something to do with it? I have tried reinstalling, didn't work. The game worked fine before the recovery.

It sounds like just a validation thing, but I don't know why it didn't fix when I reinstalled the game/rebooted.

Solutions? I sure would like to play again...

Delete the sig.bin file in the GC2 (and DA if you have it) directory.

Sent a msg to support, because I purchased online and dont' have a disc w/ serial # on it.

Simply enter your email in at support.stardock.com, and you can have a message sent to you with all your registered serials in it.
