DesktopX 3.5 Bug reports

Didn't see any thread for it yet, so here it goes:

1.) I only just started it and noticed that the DesktopX settings window only got the border skinned. The rest got Classic look.

(P.S. There was no changelog entry for the beta. Any info on the new sidebar features? )

2.) The Script Editor still doesn't save the changes you do to it's font.

(P.S. I'm impressed how effortless it was to export DX gadgets to sidebar gadgets. Worked like a charm. It's great as I now can focus on only developing the DX version once I know the API for the sidebar stuff.)

see the same only borders skinned

just found an other thing-> when in object properties you set a parent or a group name you get a wonderful error of DX and it should close
The only way to set a group appear to be the selection of the two object you want group by right click menu. I miss the properties way

3.) On Vista: when setting an object to be a shortcut object to open the control panel, the control panel icon on the desktop repositions itself to the top left part of the desktop.

4.) There is no "My computer" folder shortcut option.

5.) One of my nemesis bugs: When you clone an object with it's child objects, it also clones ALL the objects which share it's Widget name property.

Found one.. spent 30 mins thinking it was me... still could be..

In a preference dialog box, the COMBOBOX doesn't work. It only shows the "default" setting, nothing happens when you click on the arrow.
