TuneUp Utilities 2007 can do windows styling with no harm.

I can't find any information on how they are doing their skinning.  Do you know?  It appears that the skinning app is "Coming soon".  So WB may be the best bet.

I only trust Windowblinds, and it is worth the minimal cost for knowing that my machine is safe.

Should be meticulous.

Individual Windows styling. This feature been included at older TuneUp Utilities version. The "TuneUp Styler 2" is just a upgraded version which is "Coming soon"..

So there is no free and safe software that do the skinning?

No free, but safe on TuneUp Utilities 2007.

Meticulous? I think you need a new translator. :S

I seriously doubt this software has even half the features and functionality of Windowblinds.

I saw that.  My question was "HOW" do they do it.

I also saw "Our download area continually provides new additions to give you a much-needed change of style." but didn't see any samples there.

I do see some screenshots here: http://www.tune-up.com/company/press/gallery/#scr but still would like more detail.

I suspect (for no good reason) styleXP is involved.  I'd rather stick with Windowblinds @ $19.95.

You are correct. last time I checked it didn't even do AS much as StyleXp.. They asked me for some of my work to include in their new version. I graciously declined.

On a side note.. (and straight from the owner of TGTsoft ) "Vista StyleXP will happen"

...in case anyone might have been wondering.

TunUp patches uxtheme in memory as well.  It's doing it in memory but it's still cracking digital signing protection and there is no way to know how well it works if another SP is applied.
