Goodbye, ladies.

or; my Gilmore Girls tears must be shed.

I just found out from Locamama's article that Gilmore Girls has, in fact, been canceled.

I was hoping for one more season, even if that meant that Rory was gone. I could've survived without Rory, if they focused on the Lorelai - Emily relationship.

This depresses me. It's one of the two shows that I watch. I don't watch anything else, really - just Supernatural (a great, great, show, for those of you who haven't seen it - you CSI fans, I'm talking to you. when CSI is in reruns during the summer, catch Supernatural, dang it.)

But goodbye, Gilmore Girls. I will miss you.

Oh, sweetie. Your post made me so sad! And I even knew the show was going off the air.

Yeah, I told Lis they were taking it off the air.  She is actually glad, as it means they will finally have to have some closure.  But then again, she still has a couple of seasons to catch up on.

You have to start watching Veronica Mars. She and her dad have the second best parent/child relationship on TV. You can rent seasons one and two on DVD and catch up. It also has snappy dialogue and lots of pop culture references. And Veronica is just so smart in a non-Rory way.

Oh and Heroes is such a great show. I think the whole season is streaming online at their site. Those are my two favorite shows. Maybe they can help fill the void.

I DO watch Veronica Mars . . . but this season hasn't been that great. I don't know why, but I just haven't liked it as much.

Oh well. I'll miss it. Good thing I've got the first five seasons on DVD (well, BlueDev's wife has my Season Three) and I just need the last two.
