Creating SOLID objects

Wasn't sure what else to call it really

I've created a bar that goes along the top of my desktop with everything I need on it, from applications to shutdown dialog to clock and systray. That's great, it works perfectly.

Also, in skinstudio, I've set it so maximised windows dont cover the whole desktop, leaving enough space at the top for my bar to be accessed. Brilliant, it works just as I want.

HOWEVER, when I drag a window, I can still drag it up into the space where the bar appears, making it awkward to pull back down. Is there anyway I can render that section of my desktop out of bounds to movable windows?

Thanks, Alex

didn't know you could do that. the always on top, docked works for me.

Can't find a reserve space function as in Object Dock..
using object dock free - i can set the dock to top right on edge, smallest size. then move the bar to the top and set always on top, then dock the bar. then mouse up so object dock comes down and set object bar to reserve edge. can't drag a window up under object bar

with a bar and a dock, maximizing the window will cause it to stop short of the bar leaving a gap - but maybe the shadow is coming into play.

WindowFX have a feature to set the size of maximized windows.
