LentzLandians?

A new minor race, or an old one?

I played a game of DA yesterday, and I set minors to eight. One of them was the LentzLandians. Who are these guys? I thought there was already eight minors- not counting the ones that show up later in the game.

Their leader is one 'Harold Gibons III', and the portrait is the same as the Terran leader.

yea I saw that one, it is kind of a wierd name (then again, some of the minor race names are wierd), and I don't know why they used a picture of a human for it. Although a british guy anyways.

Honestly it should have an alien image for them.

I know. Unless they're a third breed of humans... (Altarians, Terrans) That's why I was curious about them.

Then again, I did disable the Terrans... maybe that's why I got these guys instead of the Andians or Akilians or whoever.

I assume they have a Terran looking image for a good reason, much like the Altarians.

no, i've got them playing as humans. AFAIK the minor race selection is completely random. it's simple enough to mod raceconfig.xml and give them new portraits, if you so desire.

I assume they have a Terran looking image for a good reason, much like the Altarians.

it would be nice if they had a little more background such as a clue to why they look human, say maybe they are the descendants of a multi-generation ship sent out long ago. Although since its the 23rd century in the game, that doesn't leave much time for a multi-generational ship to get anywhere unless its a nearby star.

Perhaps they are a terran break-off faction.

From the sounds of things, smaller/minor races comprised of a major race sound somewhat common.

That's true, very possible. Or the Altarian break-off faction.

Or maybe they just ran out of alien pictures.
