How do I download stuff??

I am new to this forum. How do I install the wallpaper from Wincustomize? I downloaded the ZIP file and when I unzip it, the file is in an unknown file format. How do I go about doing this??

Wallpapers should just be .jpg or maybe .bmp. Just to be sure, open Windows Explorer, go to Tools > Folder Options, View tab, and uncheck Hide extensions for known file types. Then check to see what file extension the wall is.

Could you also provide a link for the wallpaper you downloaded?

I am wanting to download the vistalookv2 wallpaper. It can be found here: https://www.wincustomize.com/skins.aspx?skinid=3640&libid=31 . It's a DesktopX theme.

That's not a wallpaper - it's a DesktopX theme - you need the DesktopX program installed to use it

It is a DesktopX Theme, but, with a little luck, you can get just the wallpaper. I've done it before. I can't explain how, but it can be done.
