how come stardock central doesnt allow me to update to 5.5?
it doesnt show any updates avalible which is odd.
it seems to do this to me everytime i think im up to date by checking with stardock central meaning its always out of date.
how can i correct this?
and update to the lastest version?
do i need ti uninstall just window blinds or stardockcentral as well?
i just want stardock central to show me the lastest version and let me update it.
rather than atm it tells me there is no update when im using version 5.1 when 5.4 is avalible.
i got a email sent from stardock for the lastest exe file for window blinds and the lastest stardock.
i will let you know how it goes.

Click on tools in Stardock Central and select settings. Scroll down to applications. I have all the selections in applications except for display long date format checked. Please notice the show the pre-release(alpha/beta) versions, make sure it is checked. Look at the other settings carefully and check any others you want. When your settings are correct close and restart Stardock Central. If you're subscription to WB is current you will get pre-release updates.

thanks i got it.
so 5.9 is a beta unreleased version?
so 5.1 build 81 is the latest released non beta version?
is the 5.9 unreleased version stable?
i dont normally use unreleased versions but if you can tell me if its stable on your pc i might try it.
also what new features does it have?

Uncheck the "Show pre-release versions" option and restart Stardock Central; it should show your current version in the "Installed" column. If nothing appears in the "Available" column, you already have the latest "release" version. Obviously, if there is a newer release version available, it should be listed in the "Available" column.

Have only seen a couple of posts concerning 5.49d(b).025

something about underlined system fonts

@ Bichur: I've installed the latest version 5.49d(b).025 and have seen no problems whatsoever. So the problem is not systemic/global but rather user specific.

so no stability issues?

To be honest...... I've never had "stability" issues with any version/build of WB. I have had various "anomalies" which most always were corrected in newer builds. Any other problems I have encountered have always been with my system, settings, tweaks, etc.; not WB itself.

I haven't updated to 5.49d(b).025 yet, but like Hapkido I haven't had any stability issues either - I usually update to the newest betas as they arrive - just been busy lately.

I have had no problems using the latest builds of Window Blinds. If you are concerned you can also set SDC to auto archive your prior release levels when updating. Select Tools, Settings - General, if you scroll down you will find the archive choices. Should a new beta release for some reason not work well with your PC, you can then use SDC to rollback to the prior version and wait for a fix.
