Well check this out. Whenever I used to stick a CD is the drive a little pop-up came on my screen asking my what I want to do with the CD. Now nothing pops up. How do I turn that feature back on?

Go to My Computer, right click on the drive, properties, autoplay, and then check Prompt me each time to choose action.

Did that. Still don't work.

When I installed VMWare Server it turned off the autorun feature. i have since uninstalled VMWare. maybe it has something to do with that?
