Whered the Scouts go??

Latest patch problem?

Testing the latest patch here and the default scout ships are blank. They're invisible in the game. A circle is around nothing.
I call them ninja scouts and laugh, but came and point this out. Other basic ships were fine, Survey, colony, defender, etc.

Works fine for me. I'm curious why you're supposed to reboot after you install the patch, though. I didn't, and I have scouts.... did you reboot?

After testing out TINY ship design its a problem with that one hull.. one hull is blank the other is ok.

No, no - it's valuable. When I was prompted to reboot, I thought, "Those morons - you only need to reboot for driver changes." And I didn't.

But now there is an example of a person for whom rebooting solved a problem! It's like finding the legendary tech-support-caller who said, "Wow, I deleted my browser cookies, and suddenly my Quake 4 pings are cut in half! Thank you, random ISP representative!"
