the two weeks notice, arrived a day late, or at least it would have, had the boss man, took the time to lsiten to one of the many, of the few underlings, on which he built his corner office atop. for one member of the peons, the day of reckoning had come a day early, the boss man preparing to distribute the yearly rev

that would rock my house boat Very nice line there, I might have to steal that. Yeah, I know it kind of has that tone...however, Alice in Chains really started to bug me....so whiny. How about Phil Anselo from Pantera or something like that? Thanks Trin

Hey Rat, the 17th of july is going to be our housewarming party.....so bring a pillow you're not leaving this time until you get a good sobering sleep. -sus

Hey Rat and Nicki, I don't know why JU doesn't send me alerts anymore when people comment on my stuff. So I just have to wander back here every now and then and see if there were any bites on my line. I've grown pretty tired of the banter on JU, but once I finally put everything in its place in this new apartment I hope to post more action here...even if the fish aren't biting. You two are keepers though, that's for sure. Peace, suspeck

burn me down It was the frayed rope that bound my hands, behind my back, that tightened to leave my wrists bleeding, with the same pulse of the crowds' cheering, the very same around my ankles, my back bare to find where my spine met a wooden pole, the last one that would hold me, below woo

I got nice days, comin' in through the windows, so I took out the screens, to share air with the beams, and now you know, what's been on my mind, breaking glass, trying to think fast, of the best way to close the blinds, without being seen, cause I know they're out there lookin', trying to smell what I've been cookin', a

I sure am glad I didn't read much past the first paragraph. It was gays that went after Spongebob? Hmm...I could've sworn it was radical religious rightwing zealots who were claiming Spongebob was gay. You blame a gay man for ruining your perceived innocence just because you were ignorant of a particular homosexually related nickname....get over it. I mean come on! If I heard one of my buddies say something like "I sure wish I had a hummer right

Would you think I'd lost my way, if I said I lost my faith, when I ran straight into a brick wall, without, without flinching. Without driving right into the ditches, hands off the wheel, or the handlebars, that wasn't where I was headed, that wasn't where the wear on tires was pulling me. It all kept me moving, an

I theorize, that once we realize, it never was supposed to be a surprise, that's we've all been downsized, down trotten, and downright rotten, the we're treated, and force-feeded, the call to war by those who have already retreated, but never having to wave white flags, or gather up aluminum cans in dirty plastic bags, scrapin'

But no, we are a society of individuals, devoid of personal responsibility for our actions, so,of course, this young girl ( and the baby's daddy for that matter ) are free from guilt, wrong doing, or the remorse, shame and repercussions of their actions. Free from repercussions!?!?! Did you miss someth

Well, it shouldn't be illegal anyway" is no excuse for breaking the law. Actually it kind of is. There are a ton of "blue" laws still on the books that don't make any sense. Just because something is against the law doesn't necessarily make it morally wrong just as doing something that isn't necessar

I love it when people photograph their bikes. I really should've done that before I got rid of a few prized possessions....an unridden bike is a wasted bike. I know you got your heart set on a Trek but I might recommend a Giant It's got the roadbike speed/performance but regular comfort since it's got straight handlebars that allow you to sit more upright.

Too uncomfortable. It's a lot more comfortable than any other bike you're going to want to huck yourself off of a ten footer loading dock with.....yeehaw! Try doing that on your Trek 7300. -sus

hmmm, if you changed the Porche to a nice Trek 7300 bike, I'd take the bike. Otherwise, gimme the lobster I'd take the specialized demo 9! Oh, and I'd do Bea Arthur on the backseat of a Dodge Dart while she ate orange circus peanuts off my chest. yum yum! -Sus

A lot of comments about this being a private school, but I went to a public school and the few girls who got pregnant seemed to kind of be pushed out of the school or kept in a kind of hiding away from the community in nonmainstream classes. I don't think this only a symptom of a unjust private school acting on their rights to set policy. There is a common theme here of dismissing young men from their responsibility and entirely condemning the woman

People are always staring at my chest. but maybe that's because I have my nipple pierced and it makes it look like I have one HUGE nipple. my sister and lady were talking the other day about how convenient it would be to remove ones breasts if they were in the way for some reason. Reminds me of the song "detachable penis." that would be a great feature! It gets in the way all the time!

Unless it becomes convenient to use them to attack those someone has some beef with. I mean how many states still have sodomy laws on the books? It's absurd! I live with a woman that I am not in a relationship with...a two bedroom apt.. Is this cohabitation? I soon will be moving in with my girlfriend, though I see a great difference I don't need the government trying to define it for me. Don't we have better things to worry about?

I really did like the subject matter, I just wasn't sure where it was going to take me. there's a fairly different version in my notebook, but my blog generally acts as a second draft for anything coming out of those pages. thanks for reading. -sus

We never surrendered, the last of the slave ships, I saw which flag flew atop its mast, I saw the shape of my mouth as I heard myself echo back, "it was the past," excusing myself from burdens, pretending I could ignore the benefits that befall me as I speak watching the flag flap in the tailwind, excusing myself from my rightful place
