Yeah the duplicate advisor are intended.
So are the human/hummanity references intended in the description of each of these advisors as well? Despite them being available for every empire. I supect they are "intended" until they get around to fixing them.
Thanks Draver. Can you please explain what a community team is and its relationship to Stardock? I thought by posting here Stardock would gather player bug reports directly for resolution in upcoming releases?
Community team does sound as if it's a local sports club rather than a development team/person... Since the post was about invasions/transports I should mention I think the "community team" should drop the
Appears to me to be new Ministers added to the game not a "bug" all of the ones I saw give a different boost and add to your empire.
Nope it's a bug. The descriptions "human/humanity" references make it clear they are intended for a human faction, namely the new terran dlc that this bug was introduced with and not literally every Empire in the game e.g. Drengin, Torians etc. which they are currently available to.<

Stardock really dropped the ball this Christmas, release a very average low effort DLC that's overpriced & an awful patch that breaks a load of things. Then go radio silence and leave things unfixed over the holidays when people have the most spare time to play and money to spend... I'm sure they must have a very small team working on the game but that's not a good enough excuse. I had planned on playing GCIV a ton over these holidays, the core gameplay is excellent,

Looking forward to trying it out once a decent patch comes out to fix the recent bugs. In theory I'm definitely in favour of the new clumping change, it's realistic & should encourage war & trade more when one civ lacks a resource. Would be nice if the A.I. is programmed to go to war if it lacks an important resource or make demands for that resource. Durantium is very necessary for everyone so everyone needs a bit so that shouldn't be as clumpy as other resources
One dropped today
Looks like a few files were changed in Data folder not much else elsewhere. No post on forums yet... multiple extra advisors bug not fixed. Steam Sale on Endless Legend 2 is looking very tempting... (I switched from insiders 15mb patch then back to insiders 37mb patch if

Hoping Stardock are at least doing an insiders patch fix before they finish for the holidays. Some of the bugs in the last patch were pretty shocking to let slip past. Would be very bad to leave things as they are just before Christmas when more people have free time. I'm itching to play but going to have to find another game otherwise.

Hi wondering if the developers can clear this up. The Onyx get five crystal like buildings that they share with the Luxar civ. I get why the Luxar get them but they seems totally unrelated to the Onyx backstory, worms & asteroids not crystals & telepathy. Honestly it just looks like you never got round to creating unqiue buildings for the Onyx and just gave them the Luxor ones perhaps until you get round to making their own unique buildings. One of the buildi

The Xendar look pretty minimal effort. A new pic but the other assets were in the game already if I'm not mistaken. Dregin ships with different colour. Spiders were in the game. Couple basic abilities extra logistics and range and something to do with hyperlanes. Could create a custom race almost identical to them very quickly and any one with moding experience could probably copy them entirely within an hour or two. I like a lot of the change
That's exactly how my screen looked. Try doing alt-esc, alt-caps, alt-shift, and alt-tab a bunch of times. My screen did eventually reset and the game was playable. I saved it and that save had the same problem, but I saved it again and got a good save. Hope you get lucky and the game comes back for you too!
Thanks scifi1950 that worked. Managed to save it, it sticks a bit on entering the g
Playing Insiders version. Went to load saved game from yesterday (Insiders 3.1) and game loads but screen is locked and will not respond to any mouse or keyboard commands. Screen image also runs off monitor on all sides. Starting new game seems to load a perfectly good game. Is this working as intended or a glitch?
I'm in same situation. My game was started with the 3.01 patch.&nbs
So if I understand correctly, your "go to" orders would be within your territory, but then you'd also want for the ship to skip a turn, in order to gain the movement bonus, right? Cause if it was to immediately move towards next "go to" point, there would be a chance for no bonus to trigger.
Say you have a large but oddly shaped territory, you want your ships to move through your space as much as possible to get the 50% m

Early thoughts... Some small nice changes/additions/bug fixes nothing hugely exciting if I'm honest but it's patch between DLC/expansions that's standard I guess (not a criticism). Issues and wish list... I really dislike the slider, it's a micromanagement time sink reminiscent of the awful wheel system in GCIII. A couple of extra buttons options would have been nice/fine I didn't really have any major problems with the old system. With the slider I'll end

It doesn't look like the ship/combat AI was updated for Warlords in any meaningful way. Only fighters, bombers, frigates and cruisers are being built always using the same tactics and targets. If each AI was building every ship type available to it and each AI favored certain tactics and targets and equipment it would make the game so much better/interesting/fun. It's great giving cool new things to the player but if the AI can't or won't use them it's actually a big

Thanks for the reply Zabik_2 Personally I'd like more advanced map options game layer within the game settings menu UI where you can change the fine details on the map settings some of which I mentioned yet still retain enough randomness with exploration. I'm not interested in a map editor I'd rather spend my time playing the game. The only reason I have resorted to using cheat codes e.g. fow and modding is because I can't produce the map settings I want and e.g. f

One of my biggest issues with the game is the map settings and in fact with previous titles as well. It's far too random the exact same setting can have extremely different outcomes and just when you have a slight grip on things a patch will change it again. I've tried modding to get the settings I want and given up, basically some things I can change successfully e.g sector size and amount of sectors to a small degree but others it's just not reliable and getting the amount of

Prob not the right place to report bugs but not got time to look for the right place... BUG: Corvette's hit points are flat currently, not multiplier like they should be... arguably multiplier 25% is a bit low when it does work they only have 8 hit points.... Bugged current version 8+0.25 (rounded to 0.3) = 8 hit points... (Need 0.5 to round up) - When you fix it to intended it will be 8 x 1.25% = 10 Hit Points. Balance... The Officers satellite 200
Yeah, that seems to be unintended. The improvement should be marked not destructible.
Personally I'd disagree with that I hate indestructible buildings. The bonus should be given once and once only, poss harder to implement when it's destructible but that would be preferable.
